Since forming in 2009, TRAITOR have become a firmly established force in German thrash metal. Hailing from Balingen, the band deliver uncompromising, precision-driven thrash metal with Bay Area bite, Teutonic aggression and intense live energy.

Following their first underground demos, releases such as Thrash Command, Venomizer and Knee-Deep In The Dead established TRAITOR as dependable standard-bearers for modern old-school thrash. The anniversary release Decade Of Revival marked ten years of consistent band activity.

With Exiled To The Surface, TRAITOR reached an important milestone in 2022: their fourth studio album peaked at No. 44 on the Official German Album Charts. The track Total Thrash features SODOM frontman Tom Angelripper and connects classic German thrash tradition with a new generation.

International appearances, the 2023 live album Teutonic Slaughter and collaborations with established genre heavyweights underline their role: not a nostalgia act, but an active, distinctive force in modern thrash metal.
